Some notes to this plugin:

• Unclear situation because there are different plugins with name NP_FancyText: read this Forum thread
• There are newer plugins that provide similar functions NP_Smiley.php and NP_BBCode

This plugin adds some extra’s to items and comments:

• “Straight Quotes” get converted into “curly quotes”, and double dashes (–) to — (comments and items)
• Smilies get converted to images (comments and items)
• Within comments, P-tags are added instead of the double BR-tags that are inserted by default
• Within comments, [b]strong[/b], [i]emphasis[/i], *strong* and _emphasis_ are converted to strong and emphasis

Using plugin options, you can choose which of these you want to apply, and which you don’t want to apply.

 1. Unzip the zipfile into your plugins directory
 2. Go to the 'manage plugins' section in Nucleus Admin, and install the plugin
 3. Open up the 'plugin options' to modify the settings to your needs

The only thing you need to do, is to install the plugin

The options for this plugin are pretty straightforward. It’s a series of yes/no-options that enable or disable certain functions of the plugin.
