Styling native forms?

Postby matt_t_hat » Fri Jul 20, 2012 4:33 pm

Once thing I have struggled with for a long time now is how to style the NucleusCMS forms so that they look nice.

Take the comment form, for example, how does one get the silly thing to arrange itself nicely using only CSS? It looks like everything is displaying inline? Am I right?

Hints and tips on NucleusCMS's native forms please.

WillyP can give you more specifics, but in general in your skin's css file, you can style it by styling the commentform or loginform classes as well as the formfield and formbutton classes. Nothing secret about it.

Yep, nothing magic going on, just add 'display:block' as explained here: Nucleus Support :: View topic - Fix your comment form, and a little introduction to Firebug.
