Question de débutant

First of all, i apologize, i should have written in English.
Thanks a lot for your quick answer, don't worry your French is great :D

When i click on "Skin Files" : its written : "You aren't loggin in"
I can't change files 's parameters (i think) because i am working in localhost. I will use the internet after. How so you change these parameters in local?

Best,

Your english is much better than my french.

Skin Files lets you edit the files in the skins directory from the admin area. It requires that the skins directory and all files in it have 777 permissions (read-writable by everybody). You can also edit the files locally and then upload them to your server using ftp or whatever is provided by your host.

The error you are getting is likely due to a cookie issue that often arises from the mixed use of host name forms, ie www.domain.tld and domain.tld. It's best to decide on one and make sure that all URL fields in the configuration settings page use the same form. You should use that form when logging into the admin area.

So to translate a skin, you need to edit out any english you find in each of the skin parts (Main Index, Item Pages, Member Details, Error, Archive, etc...) in the admin area (see Skins under Layout in left navigation bar). Then you need to do the same for each template associated with that skin (also from the admin area). Then finally, by editing the include files in that skin's folder. It can be a bit tedious.

There is a new plugin that allows skin developers to make there skins multi-language ready using a language file (much like nucleus does for the admin area), but there are only a few that are implemented like that so far.
