Information about the judging of the contest

Judging procedure
  • 5 judges were appointed to the judging panel, with 3 judges submitting results.
  • Each judge formed their own judging criteria for each category.
  • Submissions were awarded points based on the judges' individual criteria to obtain an overall score for each category out of 20
  • Each judge's scores were combined to form a weighted average overall score for each submission for each category
  • 3 prizes (2 winners + 1 runner-up / 1 winner + 2 runner-ups) were awarded for each category due to the intense competition
Determination of winners and runner-ups
  • Category prizes were awarded in the following order: Best Overall Design, Most Accessible, Most Elegant
  • The highest scoring submission (or 2 submissions if they had equal score) was the winner
  • The next 2 highest scoring submissions (or next highest if there were 2 winners) were the runner-ups.
  • In line with the contest rules, winning submissions for previous categories were disqualified from being winning submissions for subsequent categories. They were, however, allowed to be runner-up in another category.
  • Winners for subsequent categories were the next highest scoring submission(s) which had not already won in a previous category
  • Runner-ups for subsequent categories were the highest scoring submissions in that category, including those which were not eligible for winning that category because they had already won another category

There was an error in the way the Javascript was referencing the file download link. This has been fixed and you should now be able to download the contest skins. Enjoy!

Hi there, Nik. The static skins are submissions in .html form and so you cannot directly use them with Nucleus yet. If you would like to have a try at porting (e.g. converting a static .html design to a Nucleus skin), you can download the raw files here:

How about a footer?

Postby fjavier » Wed Aug 13, 2008 7:42 pm

Is it possible to add footer items in a way to make it snap to the end of the page?

I had customized the (html-bottom.inc) with credits, prev - next, about, privacy statements and things of this sort but the whole footer block will snap with relation to the end of the blog items and not to the entire browser width, in another words in pages with a few posts or not posts at all it will stretch to the left of the Sidebar.

Thanks in Advance

Can you give us a link to your site and let us know which skin you are using?
