Help publicize the extension of the Skins Contest!

Postby Leng » Sat Mar 18, 2006 10:52 am

Entries for the skins contest have still been fairly slow. Help out by digging our news article announcing the extension of the skins contest at digg.com:

From the Digg.com site:

Digg.com wrote:Digg is a technology news website that combines social bookmarking, blogging, RSS, and non-hierarchical editorial control. With digg, users submit stories for review, but rather than allow an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do.

You can digg stories by signing up on Digg.com (free) and just clicking a link labelled "digg". The story then becomes dugg by you.

how about starting with the front page?

Postby matt_t_hat » Tue May 30, 2006 8:44 am

I can see nothing about the contest on the main page. I would have expected a banner above the fold and a sticky item below it.

I would also expect that many users oft he forum would have links and banners in signitures these two steps will significantly raise on site awareness.

To be honest I had totally forgotten about the contest all togeather.

:? Unfortunately, I have no access to the Nuclesu CMS front page. The contest has a rather prominent announcement on the front page of the skins site.

And right you are about putting it in our signatures. I have just added the half-banner to my own forum signature, with the image being hosted at allyoucanupload.com:
