Download the skins again, unzip them and look for the XML file. Then upload it to the proper folder for that skin on your server.

I haven't had a chance to look at this. Just to be sure these new skin folders have the XML in them and it's readable by the web server?

I don't use either of those plugins, neither did I write them, so I can't comment specifically on the code. I suspect the first issue with the NP_TagEx is the same problem that patch fixes which is a change in PHP5.4 on the default character encoding used by the htmlspecialchars() and htmlentities()...

I just downloaded the code for NP_LatestComments and line 260 of that file is a comment, no code. Could you post here like lines 255 to 265 of your copy of NP_LatestComments.php on your server?

flashRU, I've done some work that I think will fix your issue in the admin area with characters. I've applied it on G888's site and it seems to have fixed the issue. I've only done minimal testing, but if want to give it a try, download this file: http://revcetera.com/downloads/nucleus3.65.01_patch....

I'm doing some work on it this weekend. I'll try to check this out. Thanks for the report.

Do you have access to the web server error logs? If so, could you post any PHP errors or warnings that seem to be related to nucleus files?

Also, what is your PHP version?

Thanks

I've been working with G888 and I've found the culprit. The root cause is due to PHP5.4 changing the default character set used by htmlspecialchars() to utf-8 and we don't explicitly define the character encoding when we call that function. I hope to have a fix this weekend.

The issue on this forum with your posts not appearing is because you often slip spaces into your url tags. I'm not sure why that kills everything. I fixed them. As for your issues with posts not appearing in the admin area of your blog for editing, I have not seen that, but I do not have a PHP 5.4 s...

You can find help on the skin variables available for each skin type in the admin area while editing a skin type (Main Index, Item Pages, etc...) by clicking the links in the list of available variables below the textarea field where you input the skin code. Here is the link to the help on the <%if%...

It uses the PHP mail command that usually uses sendmail to send the mail, but that can be configured to use another program in the php.ini file. It's sending the email from within the host's internal network so often no special authentication is required for connecting to SMTP. When you connect your...

if loggedin should be true if the user is logged in. It doesn't check if the user has Admin access. There's another check for that. Could you give more specifics? Maybe post the block of code that is giving you trouble.

Are there php errors in the web server error log? Those would give us a good clue if the problem.

Sounds like some of the URL settings in the main configuration page are missing the ending slash or still point to the old location. You can modify them from the Admin page or the nucleus_config table in the db. Also verify the paths in config.php file. Look in the source of the page in your browser...

I just finally released the 3.65 english version which, I believe will take care of the PHP5.4 issues. Unfortunately, I've had minimal time to test, but so far it's working on a couple servers without issue. Please let me know here or in the bug reports subforum if anyone encounters issues. Find the...

The rss feed is like an "index" page which does not show comments by default. In the template post body use <%comments(10)%> to show up to 10 comments. Adjust that number to show more or less. So it might look like this: <item> <title><%title%></title> <link><%blogurl%>index.php?itemid=<%i...

In the database, you should have a row in the nucleus_plugins table for each plugin that is installed and only for those plugins.
