Plugins found on GitHub

I've noticed that a fair few plugins are found on github these days. Hopefully, those links will be useful to someone.

Let me roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty with some code - make use of me while I am available. I'm interviewing like made for PHP Developer Jobs and most of them have big commutes. I am, however, available right now.

I've been monitoring the chat in the developer forums and I can see that the new version is being worked on but a lot of the people doing the work have, well, work to deal with. I think we may need to give them some more time.

Dealing with SQL errors

It would be good if when the template/theme engine hits an SQL error it could fail more gracefully than spitting out the error message when in production use.

failures on editing from inside the admin area

I am still getting failures on editing from inside the admin area. #0 ADMIN->action_itemedit() #1 call_user_func(Array ([0] => ADMIN Object ([action] => itemedit),[1] => action_itemedit)) called at [/home/lordmatt[...]/public_html/nucleus/libs/ADMIN.php:127] #2 ADMIN-...

If you modified a core file and have a backup of the code prior to update you could DIFF the file and find your change (but also all the changes)... This might not be as much help.

Importing feed snippets and saving them: Blog member and API

I was thinking of creating an aggregation plugin that takes input from multiple sources per user and adds them all to a single "blog". The idea being that the users own stuff can go on the member page and everything can go on the display page. The question is am I going to be required to e...

Another contest?

Might it be time for another skin design contest? Perhaps with a special section for new or innovative plugs too.

FOAF+SSL = WebID [Distributed Social Graph ID API]

I've just stumbled onto a new technology that I think could really make something special out of the web of NucleusCMS sites out there. I'm talking about FOAF inter-action and usage from content. The spec used to be called FOAF+SSL and uses SSL certificates (self signed) and the social graph to crea...

UPDATE

The error sometimes still does happen and a var dump (thanks to my modification) is made but if I press refresh it seems to fix it. I'm non the wiser as to why though.

2 domains one blog

I've recently launched two new blogs which have a similar layout although different designs. What is more they are on separate domain names but both are the same install. I use LMFancierURL and trick the system a little by detecting the domain and setting all of the site variables to make the domain...

That looks really smooth. I'm going to be giving away 50 registrar white labels next month if you want to add domain name to the hosting deal. There's a SOAP API so you don't have to use the pre-built example shop. The link will appear on the 31st on my http://hundredquidaday.com which is one of a f...

5.4 stopped using a few things that were depreciated in 5.3 - there is a good chance NucleusCMS still uses them. I think, for example, that passing byref at runtime (using the &= ) is now a critical error but it has been a good few weeks since I last got my hands on a 5.4 box so I could just be ...

relative paths can be a pain if the working directory is wrong for any reason (like it has been set to something else by the host). Try: include (realpath(dirname(__FILE__)) . '/nucleus/libs/globalfunctions.php'); or just give the absolute path rather than a relative one.
