Upgrade LMNucleus 3.66 to Nucleus 3.70?

Can I follow the upgrade procedure to take a LMNucleus site back to Nucleus? Also, which version of PHP is LMNucleus 3.66 and Nucleus 3.7 compatible with? My server is running a version of PHP that's going out of support and I need to update but I'm hesitant to break Nucleus. I've been running the s...

Thanks!

Lucky for me you love auntie enough to hang onto the plugins. Nucleus does what we need very well although along the way I must admit the image auto-thumbnailer and pop-ups broke. When I have the time I browse here and see if I can manage a fix. Sure wish I were fluent in Japanese. Eventually...

Thanks for the tip. That'd work fine if it were just me, but my users are completely clueless with anything outside of a dialog box or drag-and-drop. I'd upgraded to TinyMCE because there were just a couple that were intrepid enough to even post images; the rest were completely daunted by the whole ...

TinyMCE and auto image thumbnailer

Greetings, Wondering if anyone has an auto-thumbnailer (PopUpImage, PopupImageGD2 or PopupImageNetPBM) successfully integrated with TinyMCE? A while back we were using NP_PopUpImage with the default Nucleus editor working just fine but users wanted greater functionality in an editor, so I upgraded t...

Upgrading from MySQL 4 to 5 a problem?

I've been running Nucleus 3.2 fine for quite a while on MySQL 4. Another installation has a desire to run (better) under MySQL 5 and I'm debating whether or not to upgrade. Any known gotchas with rolling up to MySQL 5 with Nucleus? I'll back up the DB, of course, but I've got several things I'm work...

Please don't let this one die...

This plugin is so useful I'd just hate to see it die. Is there nobody that can take on this project, seeing as its author appears to have moved on?

Today and yesterday options

I've been using this for months and it works just great. I'm trying out the yesterday.php and today.php options and all I get is a refresh of the blog page -- no confirmation message and no emails being sent. My URL is http://www.myblog.com/blog/today.php?skinid=11&checkword=mycheckword Am I mis...

Using php include (image randomizer) in minima.css header

The main part of my site has a header that consists of a php include that pulls images randomly from a directory and displays them as a header graphic. I'd like to do the same thing on the Nucleus pages of the site but can't seem to find the magic to make it work. Is it possible to <?php include &qu...

Teranex hasn't posted here since January -- anyone know what might be going on? I'm just desperate enough for some mods to this plugin that I'll pay someone to make them if he's not working on Nucleus any longer. Heck, I'd pay him if I could find him. :)

Bump. :)

I wouldn't mind passing the 'subject' info in the URL that runs the plugin, if it could be done that way. I would just need to know what to comment out in the plugin code.

Thanks,

Customize to include bname in subject

I'm wondering if there's a relatively simple way to modify this plugin to use the blog name (bname) rather than the plugin Option setting, for the email's subject? I have two blogs for which I generate a newsletter after a new item is added and I'd like to differentiate blog is sending the notice. A...

Thanks! That's exactly the type of guidance I was hoping for. Sometimes I ask myself if I should be using a different CMS since I seem to have disabled so much of Nucleus' core functionality to suit our needs. I look around at other CMSs and then think I need to find better things to do with my time...

Best way to run 3 Nucleus 'installs'

http://stjuliana.org/pages/ I have one Nucleus install up and running and need to separate out some of its users into a second Nucleus interface, as well as add a third interface. I'm not sure of the best way to accomplish this but I guess I'd just as soon only have one Nucleus engine, and just have...

Nucleus as CMS-Lite

Not much design to speak of here, it's just a minor hack of Minima. We needed a relatively foolproof way for very low-tech teachers to communicate and Nucleus has really been a great fit. No comments allowed, very little bells and whistles, but it works for them and they're using it and that's what ...

Cool - thanks. I'm also giving NP_TinyMCE a whirl, as I can use a server-side (aspell) plugin for it that may do the trick. Only problem is I'm running into browser compatibility issues as the teachers' computers are older Macs running IE5 and it doesn't like TinyMCE much. :( It's always something! ...

I tried this out and my test user immediately complained she could see no toolbar at all on her OS9 iMac using MSIE (not certain what version yet.) She sent me a screen cap and indeed, there's no formatting toolbar of any sort. There should be no obvious platform reason why this wouldn't work for he...

Any progress on a spellchecking plug-in for Nucleus? I need one for our site in a big way. Not good to have keyboard-challenged teachers' blogs full of typos and misspellings!
