It would be good to get a consensus, pull in all the work being done to one place and get those that want to work on the code doing so.

I am flexible, I just want NucleusCMS to continue in some shape or other.

Character encoding problem

I have been getting comments that seem to break NucleusCMS. The output of the comment always terminates the output process like this: <td>2014-06-24@23:10<br />__ __<br />http://www.[spamurl]<br />SPAMUSER@[SPAMMAIL]</td><td><input type="checkbox" id="batch22" name="batch[22...

Proof of concept: Modify the admin area - no core mods

I have been thinking about this for quite some time now so I finally got on and wrote it. This is a PoC plugin that actually only puts an extra box in the admin area saying that it worked but the entire admin area can be edited, links can be changed, new menu items can be added anywhere and the func...

Fantastic.

I am really pleased.

Count me in on putting in some hard coding time on this.

I am glad that someone has taken the lead on this. I felt bad but have been scratching at that itch for a while now and would LOVE to work with some other devs to get NucleusCMS back on track.

switching admin area encoding to utf-8 from whatever...

I have been going (once more) at the old chestnut of a more flexible admin area and am 99% done but for a real gotcha. It seems that language settings allow for any number of encodings and this is a problem. My solution involves catching the admin area output and using DOM to import it into SimpleXM...

How to remove cat/id from fancierURL2

If like me you use FancierURL2 on any of your blogs but also like me you don't like that when you view a category it appends things like /cat/4 to the URL then this "fix" might be what you need. For years now I've wanted the ONLY url to an item to be the one you get to from the main page. ...

I plan to add a help file so if you want to contribute to the help file feel free to fork the repo and do just that.

NP_ModComments 2.0 with NP_ModThresholdWord

I have taken the ModComments plugin and given it a makeover. https://github.com/lordmatt/NP_ModComments It now also includes a sub plugin called NP_ModThresholdWord which is used to spit out a word dependant on the level of comment moderation. I use this on http://thanetstar.com to set comments as h...

Since all this I have learned that white screen only is more often a case of error before content. Unfortunately the only way to force error reporting on to the screen is by editing a core file. I can fix that if you let me near the dev code for a bit.

I've been playing with plugins all year although I do not think I announced anything.

I've also got a fork of NucleusCMS that I play with on GitHub (although I wouldn't currently use it for anything at all if I were you).

I'd like to get my hands on the 4.0 code if that's possible.

[PRE]Comment deletion

I want to write a very specific plugin that captures comments when they are deleted and saves them to learn what a bad comment looks like. Are there events I could subscribe to that would allow me to get the comment ID and replicate it from the comments table into a matching table before NuCMS drops...

Check plugin from another plugin

How do I check a plugin is installed from another plugin?

I have a good idea for an anti-spam plugin and I want to support about six or seven other plugins but without being dependant on them if they are not there.

Nucleus with PHP5

I notice that QuickQuery among other eavily used functions uses mysql_fetch_object The PHP doc says this: Warning This extension is deprecated as of PHP 5.5.0, and will be removed in the future. Instead, the MySQLi or PDO_MySQL extension should be used. See also MySQL: choosing an API guide and rela...
