Further inspection revealed that the Nucleus admin itself was not compromised; the code had been injected into nearly every PHP file on my server—it just happens that most of them were used for Nucleus.

Security Hole!

It's come to my attention that every Nucleus-based site on my server is being used to host a malicious script. The script is being generated by every page on every Nucleus-based site, automatically inserted (regardless of skin structure) just before the </body> tag. It looks something like this: <sc...

Restoring from Backup Issues

I'm preparing to clone my Nucleus CMS site from one server to another. Based on Nucleus documentation, I've created a backup of the original site's database using the Backups tab in the admin. Then I copied all the files from the old site to the new site and restored from the backup. It's a reasonab...

Comment notification

Email notification of new comments (for people who have left comments) would be an extremely desirable new feature. I have a very loyal group of commenters who I'm sure are quite studious about checking my site every so often to continue their conversations. I tried NP_NotifyMe , but it was too cumb...

That's it! Thank you!

Is the "name" conflict mentioned in the help file? I didn't notice it there. Of course, I'm probably the only person who's managed to make that mistake. 8)

Here's the code I'm using to create the form:

...and I'm generating it in the skin with this:

<%MailForm(form,submitstory)%>

Oh! Interesting.

There's obviously something larger going on here. When I try to submit data in the form I've created, I get this error message:

Error!
No such plugin

Scratch that...the plugin reinstall didn't change anything. I discovered the problem, though:

I was trying to call the form "submit_story"

The non-alphanumeric character was tripping it up. Once I removed the underscore, it worked.

I seem to have solved the problem by doing a fresh install.

Skin error?

I just installed NP_MailForm 1.13 on my Nucleus 3.64 site. Everything seems to be working fine so far, except that when I click "Submit" on the "Add Form" page, all I get is an action.php page that is blank except for " skin error ." Needless to say, it doesn't create t...

Wow, thanks again, ftruscot—it worked!

I'm going to download the latest version (I've been using 1.32).

Random items?

Just a quick question: I'm trying to show a random entry from a specific blog and category on the main page of my site using NP_Ordered. Here's the code I'm using: <%Ordered(blog,all(title-random),templatename,1,category,blogname)%> ...but it's just showing the items in their default order as specif...

I tried both—as you suspected, neither worked. I think you're on the right track, though. Take a look at this: http://mychangepoint.com/about.php?special=staff On this page, items with Custom Fields within the page's blog show up fine, but an item called in from another blog has the same malfunction...

Version 0.71—I believe that's the latest (or last?). I did try earlier versions while troubleshooting the problem, with no success.

Sure! Here's the skin code for index.php: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <title>Changepoint | A nondenominational church in Poughkeepsie, NY</title> <%phpinclude(layout/css.txt)%> </head> <body> <div id=...

It happens with every Custom Field, but only on certain pages. Specifically, it's happening on index.php, but not elsewhere. Here's an example: http://mychangepoint.com/index.php On this page, I'm linking to an article using a template containing the CustomField code. You'll notice there's this huge...

CustomField Glitches

I'm using Nucleus 6.34 along with NP_CustomField, a plugin that I've used extensively in the past and have never had a problem with. For some reason, however, it's acting strangely on the latest site I'm building. The problem is that when I include a custom field in a template, the result tags the f...
